The Biden Administration continues to send U.S. weapons to Israel, despite Israel’s history of forcing Palestinians to live under apartheid and occupation.
And now the latest news? Just two weeks ago, the Biden Administration approved the sale of $735 million in even more weapons for the Israeli military.
Recent headlines are dominated by the horrors of Israeli missile strikes and Hamas rockets, but the underlying reality is that Palestinians have lived under Israeli military occupation and apartheid for decades. And U.S. taxpayers have given Israel billions of dollars along the way.
If you are outraged too, tell your elected officials to demand an end to Israel’s illegal expulsions of Palestinians from their homes by following the steps below.
On our May Freedom Community Call, we took action together to support Palestinian human rights with Sandra Tamari, the executive director of Adalah Justice Project. We were also be joined by Dr. Abdullah Alaoudh and Raed Jarrar from DAWN (Democracy for the Arab World Now), the organization founded by the late Jamal Khashoggi.
Call on your Member of Congress to end Israel’s illegal expulsions of Palestinians from their homes:
Call 202-225-3121 and ask to be connected to your Representative’s office. Once you get a staff member on the line (or if you’re asked to leave a voice message), mention your name, your address, and ask your Representative to do the following:
- Publicly condemn Israel’s attacks on Palestinians in Jerusalem and Gaza. The cycle of violence between Israel and Hamas is a symptom of a deeper problem: decades of Israeli occupation and apartheid. Many members of Congress have issued press releases or social media posts condemning Israel’s oppression of Palestinians. Call on your representative to join them.
