Stop funding Egypt’s dictator. End the Dictator Tax.

January 29, 2011

Every year, US taxpayers are forced to pay $10 each to the Egyptian dictatorship of Hosni Mubarak.

That’s $1.3 billion in military aid a year — 25% of the dictator’s military budget.

Thousands of Egyptians are now in the streets, calling for an end to the Mubarak regime. If we as Americans truly stand for freedom, it is high time we get on the right side of this struggle.

Urge the White House and US Congress to end the Dictator Tax. Click here.

Egyptian dictator Hosni Mubarak uses torture, censorship, and corruption to maintain his power. Meanwhile, the average Egyptian lives in poverty on less than $2 a day.

Average US taxpayers shouldn’t have to pay for Egyptian dictatorship.

Email Congress and the White House now.

Join the Call: A New U.S. Policy Towards Pakistan

September 24, 2009

For too long, U.S. foreign policy has supported individual Pakistani leaders and dictators at the expense of Pakistani civil society and democracy.  This needs to change, and you can help.

A core group of independent  scholars, activists, and human rights advocates has authored The Call for a New U.S. Policy Towards Pakistan.  Freedom Forward is proud to be one of the participants in this effort.
